Stove/Oven Repair Service
OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS
WON’T IGNITE
If an electric stove will not turn on, be sure the appliance power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas models. If the stove power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is lit, it means a different part of the oven will need to be replaced. The cause of the issue might be an infinite switch, surface element, oven burner igniter or broil and bake element.
BURNER WON’T HEAT
A burner or stove with no produce heat won’t do much good. An oven doesn’t heat if there is a broken oven sensor or bake element. A burner will not ignite when an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We know how to fix these common problems in no more than 1-2 hours after our arrival.
PROGRAM PROBLEMS
It’s reasonable to assume the control panel on a stove is broken if the timer or program functions don’t work. If that is the case, we can repair control panels on GE, LG, Sears, Kenmore, KitchenAid and several other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on control panels and manufacturer replacement parts we install for this type of oven repair service.
OVEN IS TOO HOT
You need a hot oven. But not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it could be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our appliance repairmen are able to identify the cause of the issue and then repair it. Just be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat.
IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT
A common stove problem is that an igniter glows but will not light. The reason this occurs is from either a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We determine whether we are able to fix these appliance parts or if we have to replace the parts.
DOOR WILL NOT OPEN
New self-cleaning ovens sometimes have door issues. The door does not open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We inspect the door closure, seal and thermostat to figure out why the door won’t open up and then we complete the repair in order to fix the problem.
