DISHWASHER PROBLEMS
CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS
Technicians are trained in identifying and repairing dishwasher problems that can cause irregular noises to come out of the appliance. The reason for the sounds is usually a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are common issues, customers can be sure we will be able to repair them right away!
WATER LEAKING
There are two reasons a dishwasher leaks water. The most common reason is that there is an issue with the door latch or closure and the part will need to be replaced. The other cause is a failed water inlet valve that must be repaired right after our arrival to your house. We have the manufacturer parts to repair GE, Whirlpool, Sears and name brands of dishwashers.
DOESN’T START
First, if a dishwasher will not turn on, you should ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers. If this isn’t the issue, then the issue could be coming from the door closure switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.
WON’T DRAIN/FILL
A dishwasher should fill up with water and drain water after the dishes are clean. A dishwasher will not fill when there’s a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. Your dishwasher doesn’t drain if there is a malfunctioning drain hose or pump motor on the unit.
WON’T CLEAN DISHES
A dishwasher is not of much use when the dishes are still dirty following a cycle. The dishes could be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, water tube or filter or spray arm. We have manufacturer replacement parts available to fix common dishwasher issues right away.
WON’T DRY DISHES
The purpose of a dishwasher is for the appliance to wash and dry dishes. You don’t want to hand dry dishes and silverware after a cycle. Your dishwasher does not dry when there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace all manufacturer parts for the drying functions of all types of dishwashers.
DOESN’T DISPENSE SOAP
In order for your dishwasher to wash dishes, it should be able to dispense detergent or soap in the machine. This does not occur if there is a broken timer, bi-metal release or wax motor.
